James Milner will set the example for his new Liverpool teammates according to one of his old coaches.
The 29-year old midfielder will soon link up with his new club for pre-season training after joining on a free transfer from Manchester City earlier this summer.
Milner's former boss Peter Taylor knows the player very well from their days together in the England U21 setup and is tipping the former Leeds United, Newcastle United and Aston Villa man to have a big impact on the training pitch.
"Milner's a great lad, you speak to any Under-21 manager, they'll say he's the best pro they've ever worked with," he told Sky Sports.
"He can play in a couple of positions for Liverpool, he'll be there every training session, doing it right every day and every game, and will set an example."
