Adam Lallana says Liverpool are intent on avoiding a potential banana skin when they meet Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup this weekend.
The Reds, who have won nine of their past 11 Premier League fixtures, are hot favourites to successfully negotiate the Championship outfit at Anfield in the quarter-final on Sunday and midfielder Lallana admits it is a goal of the club to at least qualify for the final four of the cup competition.
"It is a great competition in which we have a great chance of getting to Wembley in the semi-final," Lallana told the Liverpool Echo.
"We won't underestimate Blackburn, we will dust ourselves down, recover well and go again Sunday.
"A lot of the big guns went out in the early rounds so it is good that we can maybe capitalise on that but Blackburn will not be an easy game.
"They will come here full of optimism and will want to cause an upset."
