Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is willing to keep hold of Harry Wilson this season.
Burnley are the only club to have tabled an offer which was made up of £12million upfront with a further £4m in add-ons.
Despite the Clarets' interest, Klopp decided that Wilson was ready to play against Arsenal in this week's Carabao Cup defet and get some minutes under his belt.
The Athletic reports Liverpool are waiting for Burnley to increase their offer, but Klopp is potentially willing to keep Wilson in place of Xherdan Shaqiri if the former Stoke man leaves the club.
It's a glimmer of hope for Wilson, who remains keen to make the grade at Anfield having come through the youth ranks at Melwood.
