Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy hopes Riyad Mahrez chooses to stay this season.

Vardy is hoping the other half of last season's deadly duo, Mahrez, takes a leaf out of his book and stays at the King Power Stadium – but knows the decision is totally out of his hands.

The England man, 29, added: “I think everyone in the squad would want him [Mahrez] here playing with us.

“But it's nothing to do with us, it's up to Riyad and the club to deal with."
