Leicester look at January swoop for Braga whizkid David Carmo

Leicester City are the latest club to join the race to sign Braga defender David Carmo.

Portuguese newspaper claims O Jogo claims the Foxes now see Carmo as someone they want to sign in the January transfer window.

It appears the player impressed Brendan Rodgers during their Europa League tie.

The outlet does not know how much Braga would demand for the player, but a transfer should be feasible for Leicester to complete.

When the two teams played each other, Rodgers called Carmo a player with "the conditions to play in the Premier League."

The 21-year-old centre-back has played seven games in Liga NOS this term, along with five Europa League matches.

He has received two red cards in domestic matches this term.
