Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson says the pressure is on him to turn things around.
City have failed to win in their last seven games and have not scored in their last five fixtures.
"Someone needs to take the responsibility and I am happy to do that, more so when things don't go well," he told the Leicester Mercury.
"I always feel it is beneficial for the players to have the freedom to play.
"I don't want them to feel any adverse pressure. They have enough on their plate going out there and playing games in a division where I think we have all noticed how difficult it is to make that progression because of the quality you are dealing with.
"My job is to absorb the pressure and take it off the players in the sense of all the to-ing and fro-ing you may get in terms of discussions on a public level.
"In the meantime, we have to find the right way of winning games and I am sure that we will do that."
