Leeds and Udinese at deadlock over De Paul fee; Serie A rivals keen

Leeds United and Udinese are in a transfer stand-off over Rodrigo de Paul.

The Mirror says are refusing to pay their £35.7million asking price for the attacker.

Udinese are prepared to cash in on De Paul, but want £35.7million (40million euros) for the Argentina midfielder.

Leeds are unwilling to smash their transfer record to go that high and are content to wait to see if Udinese lower their valuation.

Roma and Fiorentina are interested in De Paul according to reports in Italy, but neither side has made a bid and Leeds feel they are in a strong position.

Personal terms would not be a problem and Leeds are boosted by the fact that the South American has indicated on social media that he is keen to play under his compatriot Marcelo Bielsa.
