Lee Grant is ready to leave Stoke City.

The Sun says Grant is upset at the way he has been dropped by manager Mark Hughes in favour of Jack Butland, even though he had been the club's best player last season.

And after waiting all his career to finally prove he is good enough to play in the Premier League, the 34-year-old is desperate not to have his dream snatched away from him.

Bournemouth and Watford are both monitoring his situation at the Bet365 Stadium and are ready to make their move should Grant decide he needs to leave the Potteries.

Hughes has said he wants Grant to stay at the club as Butland's understudy, with the promise of playing in cup matches.
