Frank Lampard insists he's not seeking the Chelsea manager's job.
The former England midfielder has always made his desire of becoming a manager public and is working on his qualifications.
But he does not feel being thrusted in at Chelsea would be the ideal start for him.
“It's a bit too soon for me, I'm in the process of doing my badges," Lampard told talkSPORT on Friday.
“You know I love the club and maybe down the line that would be a dream.
“I want to do it the right way. Having been a player at no matter what level, you still have to do the process, whatever that might be for yourself – Stevie G (Steven Gerrard) is there with the young players at Liverpool, but there are other routes you can go down, so I'm just biding my time.
“I'm trying to do the badges properly and the FA are helping me with that.
“I'm enjoying the media work at the moment so it's a nice balance at the minute."
