There's tension between Real Madrid management and Kaka over the timing of his planned groin surgery. Placar says Kaka's decision to delay surgery until after the World Cup has angered Real directors, who believe he is putting Brazil's cause ahead of the club.

For his part, Kaka is upset Real did not defend him when he was out of action and the relationship with directors has cooled since the New Year.

The Brazilian magazine says Kaka is available for the remaining games of the season, but if he feels even the slightest twinge, he won't risk his chances of making the World Cup and instead will make himself unavailable for selection.
