Juventus striker Trezeguet confident of successful return

Juventus striker David Trezeguet is confident of a successful return from knee surgery.

Trezeguet started training at Vinovo last week and he will be back on the pitch in the New Year.

“I had two really bad months,” Trezeguet told Tuttosport. “But I have finally been reunited with my teammates and that will fire me up.

“I want to get back on the pitch and I am extremely happy that Juve have progressed in the Champions League.

“The Champions League is the best competition to play in and I want to be fully fit to contribute to the European cause.”
