Javi Galan is delighted with his move to Atletico Madrid.

The former Celta Vigo fullback completed his move yesterday.

Galan said, “The feeling can be explained very easily: it is a dream. All of us who like football since we were children dream of days like this. I come from many years of gradually climbing the steps, I have played in all categories: Preferente, Tercera, Segunda B, Segunda, Primera.

"Arriving now at a club as big as Atleti is the recognition of all the work and it is a dream to be here.

“I hope to contribute everything I have, learn a lot more from these teammates with such a level and from the coach and the entire coaching staff. I am sure that I will contribute a lot to the group."
