With Wesley Sneijder forced into the stands, Inter Milan were defeated by Parma last night. Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni admits the non-selection of Sneijder was his, with the club demanding the midfielder accept a pay-cut or be sold.
"This is a position of the club, you have to know what is in the mind of the player on this position. I am the coach, I evaluate my players during the week and on weekends I make my choices.
"To not call him was my choice. You can ask the club about other things."
