Details of Barcelona's deadline day deal for Sevilla striker Luuk de Jong have now emerged.
Diario de Sevilla reports that as well as paying De Jong's wages, Barça will also pay a third of the amortization of his transfer fee.
De Jong joined Sevilla for 12.5 million euros on a four-year contract, which is broken down to around 3 million euros per year, with Barça set to pay 1 million of that this season.
Remember that the deal also includes an option for Barça to sign De Jong at the end of the season if they are satisfied with his performances.
At 31, the forward has the chance to experience something new in his career with the objective of proving that he can live up to the expectations at a club like Barcelona.
