Hull's Cousin to join QPR on loan

Hull City striker Daniel Cousin is close to joining Queens Park Rangers on loan.

The Gabon international, who is currently away on international duty at the African Cup of Nations, has struggled for game time with the Tigers this season and it is believed that a deal with the Rangers is ready to be complete.

New QPR boss Paul Hart is keen to strengthen his squad and an international like Cousin would be a great asset for the Championship club.

Cousin's agent Willie McKay confirmed that Hull and QPR were close to agreeing a loan deal for the 32-year old.

"The two clubs have agreed a loan deal for Daniel," McKay told skysports.com.

"Paul Hart has spoken to Daniel and he is keen to bring him to Loftus Road.

"Daniel is away with Gabon as he is captain of his country, but he is happy to make the move to QPR.

"He wants to be playing football regularly and he feels this is a good move for him as they are an ambitious club."
