Corinthians striker Alexandre Pato has been linked with Hull City.
Tigers boss Steve Bruce has made a move for the Brazilian, but Pato's wages of around £60,000 a week are a big hurdle to overcome, says the Daily Mail.
Bruce is desperate to find a new striker before next week's deadline and is keen to take Pato on-loan to the end of the season.
Pato starred for Sao Paulo last season on-loan from his parent club.
