Hertha Berlin are set to sign Arsenal outcast Matteo Guendouzi.

The midfielder, 21, is looking for an escape route out of the Emirates after being frozen out by manager Mikel Arteta.

After weeks of speculation that suggesting the out-of-favour ace was leaving, Goal report that Herta Berlin is the most likely destination.

He is in advanced talks with the German club, but he is reported as having turned down a loan move there only two months ago.

His U-turn comes as the transfer window prepares to shut - with Guendouzi showing few signs of getting back into the Gunners first team.
