Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is sorry to see Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema still frozen out of the France squad.

France coach Didier Deschamps hasn't selected Benzema since before last year's Euros after the striker became embroiled in an alleged blackmail scandal.

Henry considered: "When I speak of Karim Benzema, there is only one word that comes to mind, it is class.

"When he plays, everything he does, he does it with class.

"To be able to talk about something, you have to know what happened. The only two who know about the story are Karim (Benzema) and DD. I can not even mediate for myself. So, leave me where I am. Everyone has their battle."
