AS Roma legend Giuseppe Giannini has been sacked by Hellas Verona.
Giannini was dismissed following their 2-1 defeat to Salernitana in the Lega Pro Prima Divisione.
The writing appeared to be on the wall for Giannini when Giovanni Martinelli called an emergency meeting to discuss his future this morning.
Hellas currently lie 12th in the Lega Pro Prima Divisione, 10 points behind leaders Sorrento.
Giannini had hoped to replicate his success at Gallipoli who he got promoted to Serie B.
