Asamoah Gyan has no plans to return to Sunderland.
The Daily Star says Gyan looks certain to quit Sunderland on a permanent basis at the end of the season when his loan deal with UAE outfit Al-Ain expires.
Sunderland are expected to sell the Ghana striker for £6 million.
