Idrissa Gueye has apologised to PSG fans for his red card against Manchester City.

The midfielder saw red for a foul on Ilkay Gundogan as PSG lost the first-leg of their Champions League semifinal 2-1 this week in Paris.

Afterwards, Gueye had a message for PSG teammates: "Sorry to have let you down guys.

"It will be hard not to be able to defend our colours with you in the second leg, but nothing is done.

"I trust you."
