Leeds United midfielder Samuel Saiz is ready to leave for Spain next month.

The Mirror says Saiz's Spanish wife is pregnant and Leeds are aware that the playmaker is investigating the possibility of moving back to his homeland.

Getafe have been linked with Saiz and the La Liga outfit are understood to be considering a move for him when the transfer window opens next month.

Leeds are sympathetic to Saiz's situation, but would like the playmaker to stay at Elland Road and remain part of their promotion push.

Saiz, 27, who cost £3million from Huesca in 2017, has two-and-a-half years left on his current deal and Leeds want to open talks on new terms in February.
