Genoa are in talks with Leicester City defender Yohan Benalouane.

Benalouane accepts he has little future at Leicester under manager Claude Puel and is prepared to leave this month.

Calciomercato.com says Genoa have made contact with Benalouane's representatives about a return to Italy.

The stopper, formerly of Atalanta, spent much of his career in Italy before moving to the Foxes two years.

Benalouane is also interesting St Etienne this month.
