Fulham scared off Rhodes by Huddersfield price

Fulham boss Martin Jol has dropped his pursuit of Huddersfield Town striker Jordan Rhodes.

The Sun says Scottish hotshot Rhodes, 22, was Jol’s first-choice target but the £6m price-tag the Terriers put on his head scared him off.

He is now exploring alternatives, including Bolton Wanderers striker David Ngog.
