Fulham star Joao Palhinha may have eyes for more clubs than Bayern Munich.

The Portuguese midfielder was devastated when a deadline day move to the German champions did not pan out.

The anchorman had to settle for a stay at Fulham, after the club turned down Bayern's offer, as they could not sign a replacement on time.

Per The Athletic, Palhinha was apparently interested in a move to Manchester United should the opportunity have come up.

The Red Devils do admire Palhinha, with manager Erik ten Hag impressed by his energy.

However, the club did not have the funds to get a big money move done for a midfielder this summer.
