Footage has emerged of Barcelona defender Gerard Pique encouraging goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen to waste time during victory over Real Sociedad.

This was captured by the Movistar cameras at the game.

"Marc! Marc! Stop, we move out and we waste time," Pique was seen and heard saying to his teammate.

Wasting time is something Quique Setien has criticised other teams for doing in the past. But it was put to good use by his players as Barca defeated La Real 1-0.
