Fiorentina goalkeeper Sebastien Frey feels Italian football is a hostage of the violent element amongst local fans.

The Frenchman declared: "What happened on Sunday was the straw that broke the camel's back.

"We are the main victims, we feel as if we've been taken hostage. And when I say we, I speak of the Italian league. All I can do is hope, like everyone else, that this scourge is reduced."
