FIGC chief Albertini says AC Milan's Cassano in good spirits

FIGC vice-president and former AC Milan star Demetrio Albertini has visited Antonio Cassano after his heart op.

It was caused by a small hole between the two atriums in his heart and on Friday morning he underwent surgery to block the gap with a small umbrella, though he could be back on the field in six months.

"Antonio is happy and relaxed," revealed FIGC Vice-President Albertini this evening.

"The medics were in the hospital room as well. The most important thing is his health and Antonio says that too. He was amazed by all the messages he has received.

"Antonio will only need 15-20 days of complete rest, then he can even start running, if he wants to."
