Feyenoord loanee Minteh: I don't know Newcastle plans

Newcastle United youngster Yankuba Minteh's immediate future is not yet decided.

His loan club Feyenoord are hoping that he can stay in the Netherlands for one more season.

However, Chronicle Live states that Newcastle are yet to make a final choice on what to do about his development.

Minteh is only 19 and is highly regarded within the club, but may not be ready for first team action in the Premier League.

“Ultimately the Premier League is my goal and Newcastle United is the club that has a lot of confidence in me," Minteh told Voetbal International this week.

“I have no idea what the future looks like. I was in Newcastle once, when they played against Borussia Dortmund. I will hear soon what plans the club has for me.

“I'm still young, I have time, maybe they want to rent me out again. I don't know yet, I'll hear about it, I'll let everything happen to me. I know only that one day I will play in the Premier League."
