Feyenoord director Dennis te Kloese admits they're keen to hear from Newcastle about their plans for Yankuba Minteh.

Minteh has gradually improved during his loan in Rotterdam this season.

Te Kloese told AD: “Newcastle United will discuss this in April. But he's getting better. His speed is incredible and he is still very young."

Feyenoord coach Arne Slot has also stated: “I think that is also the reason why Newcastle United loaned him to us - they, just like us, see a lot of talent in him but he's not 'finished' yet. That is the place we currently occupy in the football pyramid.

"If he had such an overview of the ball to give every cross, he would have stayed at Newcastle."
