Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone is becoming fed up with Diego Costa's situation at Chelsea.

Simeone would like to see Atletico sign the Chelsea outcast, but with talks continuing to stall, El Larguero says the coach is ready to knock the deal on its head.

Simeone sees no upside for Atletico waiting so late to bring Costa to Madrid, knowing he is hopelessly unfit and cannot play until January due to their transfer ban.

Instead, the Argentine feels they should now step away so to avoid any unwelcome distractions.

Simeone's decision could see Chelsea left with Costa in limbo, as the striker continues to refuse to return to the club after his row with manager Antonio Conte.
