FC Seoul have kept their round of 16 hopes alive by putting five goals past Indonesian outfit Sriwijaya.
The Korean club are now level on points with Group F's second-placed side, Shandong Luneng, who face the undefeated Gamba Osaka tonight thanks to an inspired performance from Montenegro attacker Dejan Damjanovic.
The 16th minute saw the first goal of the 5-1 rout, a low strike from a tight angle from Damjanovic but the Indonesians managed to hold sway for a majority of the match form that moment on.
In the 65th minute, St Kitts and Nevis midfielder Keith Gumbs even managed an equaliser but it was short-lived as Damjanovic warmed up again and delivered seven minutes later.
Three minutes after that, substitute Sim Woo-yeon made it 3-1 and all of a sudden the game had turned.
A fourth for Seoul and a second for Sim came in the 79th minute as Sriwijaya capitulated and to make the score line look even worse, Damjanovic completed his hat-trick in injury time.
