EXCLUSIVE: Socceroos hat-trick hero Jedinak intent on finding Aston Villa form

Mile Jedinak says he is fully focused on Aston Villa following his hat-trick in Australia's 3-1 win over Honduras that guaranteed their qualification for next year's World Cup.

The Socceroos skipper has made just three appearances in the Championship so far this season.

With Russia now on the horizon, he is hoping he can take some momentum from his play-off performance back to Villa Park.

Asked if there would be anything different in his preparation compared to Brazil in 2014, Jedinak said: "No not really, it's about getting in as many games as possible and getting into a rhythm and get back to club football and staying focused on that.

"There's a job there to be done until we meet again with the national team, but yeah it's just business as usual. it's part of being a professional footballer; one week you're qualifying for the World Cup, the next week you've got a tough game at home or away from home."
