Former West Ham United chief Gianluca Nani has backed Mario Balotelli's move to Manchester City.
City are locked in talks with Inter Milan over the young striker.
"Balotelli is a great talent, a player who has the characteristics of a champion," Nani said.
"However you have to sell a player when an offer of that type is made.
"Inter have some very good officials and a sporting director [Marco Branca] who is very intelligent, therefore they know what they are doing "
