New York Cosmos chairman Paul Kelmsley is eagerly anticipating Friday night's match against a Manchester United XI at Old Trafford.
The Major League Soccer hopefuls are back in the game after 25 years and take on a Red Devils side for Paul Scholes' testimonial.
Kelmsley, a former Tottenham director, says it is a great event in the history of the Cosmos who rose to prominence in the 1970s when Brazilian legend Pele joined them in the old North American Soccer League.
"To be playing the first game at Manchester United is just the biggest thrill in the world," he said.
"It's been over 25 years since the club last played a game and it's going to be a very emotional evening especially for Pele and some of the ambassadors who wore this shirt back in the late '70s."
