Former Rangers star striker Kris Boyd has joined Nottingham Forest on loan for the rest of the season.
The 27-year old Scotland international has moved to the City Ground in a swap deal with Middlesbrough who will gain the services of Forest's Paul Smith.
The deal applies for the remainder of the season with Boyd joining Nottingham who are situated fifth on the English Championship table whilst 31-year old goalkeeper with land at the Riverside Stadium with 'Boro striving to stave off relegation.
Boyd has netted six league goals on Teesside so far this season and is sure to strengthen Billy Davies' promotion-chasing squad.
