Former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has ruled out a return to Swansea City.

The Northern Irishman was approached about a return to the club he led to the Premier League after Garry Monk was sacked last month.

He told Sky Sports: "I said when I left that maybe at some stage in my career and life I would be back there again.

"It is an incredible club. It is just going to be about the timing. It is a great city, a great club and from where I left it, it has really moved on."
