Ex-Chelsea defender David Luiz: I don't want to go back to Paris

Former Chelsea defender David Luiz is reluctant to return to PSG after the Paris terror attacks.

Luiz, on international duty with Brazil, is scheduled to head back in Europe after his country's World Cup qualifier against Peru on Tuesday.

But the £50million defender who signed from Chelsea is hesitant about returning with fears over the safety of his family and friends in Paris.

"I have my girlfriend and some family and friends in Paris," Luiz said. "They were all very sad and scared. I don't know what I'm going to do and whether I will head back [to Paris].

"Playing for PSG is my job but if it were up to me than I would not go back."
