Former Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font has taken fresh aim at Joan Laporta.

Font says Messi, as a World Cup winner with Argentina, should have made the achievement as a Barca player and not with PSG.

"Barça has not lived up to the historical dimension of the figure of Messi," he said.

"Hopefully we are to take perspective and make an adequate analysis of everything. And may the conclusions also help us understand that, also in the world of emotions, goodwill, roasts and determination are not enough.

In addition to this, the former presidential candidate, added: "The so-called levers have closed without a plan, quickly and running, and do not help to grow the club's assets."
