Former Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi was undergoing a medical at Torino on Monday.

Mustafi is a free agent after fulfilling a short-term contract with Schalke.

Sky Italia says the Granata have finally managed to reach an agreement with the 2014 Germany World Cup winner, who will undergo his medicals later today.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports Mustafi's father arrived in Italy on Monday and his son would complete his medical examinations with the Granata in the evening.

It will mean a return to Italy for the defender, who spent three years with Sampdoria between 2011 and 2014.
