Mauricio Pellegrino has reportedly impressed the Crystal Palace board as the Eagles continue their search for a replacement for Sam Allardyce.
Crystal Palace are currently on a lookout for a new manager following the shock departure of Sam Allardyce at the end of last season.
And recently, Argentinean Mauricio Pellegrino has been strongly linked with a move to Selhurst Park.
In an update, the Independent have now gone on to claim that Pellegrino has managed to impress senior figures at Palace after holding talks with the club officials and the 45-year-old is currently believed to be in pole position to be appointed as the next manager of the London outfit.
