Former AC Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini says the board should stick with coach Stefano Pioli.

Pioli is under huge pressure after a recent run of poor results.

But Ambrosini told Gazzetta.it: "Ranking Milan is in line with the minimum objective.

"Regarding the coach, I don't think we have reached the point of no return, of breaking point. Of course, it is worrying to see how the team falls with this continuity.

"Added to this is the expectation of a club that has spent a lot on the market."
