Everton fullback Luke Garbutt is determined to hit the ground running next season.

The youngster's campaign was plagued by injury.

"The first part of this season was difficult for myself personally because I had quite a few injuries, so that was a tough time," he told evertonfc.com.

"But second half of the season I got myself back fit, played a regular string of games and I think towards the back end of the season I was performing to the level that I think I should be able to perform at consistently."
