An Everton scout is confident they'll clinch the signing of Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.

Carlo Jacomuzzi, a scout with Everton, has revealed they're shopping for a new centre-forward and have Giroud and Napoli striker Duvan Zapata on their radar.

However, Jacomuzzi says there's confidence at Goodison Park of signing Giroud.

He told Radio Crc: "We will sign Giroud for £20m, which is a coup compared to the €25m needed to buy Duvan Zapata."

Just yesterday, Giroud announced he intended to stay with the Gunners.
