Everton's cheeky bid for Miroslav Klose has not come to fruition with the German international set to join Lazio.
The 33-year old World Cup star has left Bayern Munich as a free agent and will sign a two-year deal with Lazio after agreeing a deal with the Italian club.
The Toffees were hoping to land Klose when they approached him recently but the former Werder Bremen and Kaiserslautern striker has opted for the Serie A.
