Everton are determined to win the race for FC Basel attacker Breel Embolo.
The Daily Star Sunday says it will take an offer in the region of £15m to tempt the Swiss club into selling the playmaker.
Embolo, 18, was born in Cameroon before becoming a Swiss national and has played five times for his country this year, scoring against San Marino on Friday night.
He can operate as a winger or as a striker and was wanted by Bundesliga side Wolfsburg to replace £56m Kevin De Bruyne when he moved to Manchester City in August.
