Everton announce new ticketing agreement

Everton has announced a new agreement with Echo Arena Liverpool's TicketQuarter outlet, reports SportsPro. The agreement will enable Toffees fans to buy match tickets for every one of the club's home games throughout the 2012/13 from Liverpool's city centre.

According to an official press release, TicketQuarter staff 'have worked alongside the Everton ticketing team to install a real time connection into the Queen Square outlet.'

Financial terms of the partnership were not released.

"As part of our commitment to provide a first-class service, we are delighted to team up with the TicketQuarter box office in the heart of the city centre to provide yet another channel for our fans to buy tickets for our home games quickly and easily," said Everton chief executive Robert Elstone.

"We continually strive to become easier to buy from and hope that the new facility will be utilised by our supporters, as well as a whole new group of fans who are taking in the very best that Liverpool has to offer - which of course, should include a trip to Goodison Park, one of the most famous football grounds in the world."

Tim Banfield, the commercial director at ACC Liverpool, home of the Echo Arena, added, "Our aim when we launched TicketQuarter was to provide an enhanced experience for customers, having a box office located in the city centre is more convenient and provides greater flexibility.

"We sell tickets for more than 500 events across the North West and are pleased that Everton Football Club is the latest high-profile brand to come on board, making it easier than ever for fans to buy their tickets."
