Everton midfielder Ross Barkley is wary of facing a wounded Southampton this weekend.
The Toffees travel to Southampton on Saturday, who are fifth despite losing their last four games, and Barkley said the Goodison outfit must concentrate on continuing to claw back points on the sides above them.
"We've got to respect what they're capable of doing," he told the Liverpool Echo.
"They're a good team. We need to focus on the three points though because we've missed out on quite a few points over the last few games and we can't let it slip too far."
