Sven Goran Eriksson is now attempting to buy Notts County, it has been revealed.

Executive chairman Peter Trembling and Sven-Goran Eriksson are trying to secure a buyout of Notts County, reports Sky Sports News.

It is understood that the Magpies' owners Munto Finance - a subsidiary of Qadbak investments -are looking to sell as soon as possible.

Munto took control of the club amid a blaze of publicity over the summer.
