Sean Dyche was over the moon as Burnley strode back into the Premier League on Monday night.
The Clarets defeated QPR at Turf Moor thanks to Sam Vokes' second-half goal which has given them an automatic promotion as they now cannot miss the top two.
With second-placed Middlesbrough to play third-placed Brighton & Hove Albion on the weekend, Burnley have confirmed their return to England's top flight and manager Dyche was absolutely delighted with the achievement.
"Two years ago, we went under the radar," he told Sky Sports.
"This year we have gone 22 games unbeaten and won promotion. That is unbelievable.
"Ian Holloway once said we had a strong jaw. He meant it as a compliment. We don't think we are the real deal, not at all, but we're a real group of people.
"The result counted today. We know we are miles better than the performance, but the resilience and work ethic was on show again today."
Burnley will now strive to win the Championship title when they take on relegated Charlton Athletic away on Saturday to complete some unfinished business and Dyche admits that would simply top off a fantastic season for the Lancashire outfit.
"We'll be focused on Saturday (against Charlton) I can assure you. We were runners-up last time don't forget," Dyche added.
"So we want to win it. That will be the focus. We'll go and win it, that's our job. Let's enjoy it now because this is another part of history for this club and history runs deep here."
